Tallow has withstood the test of time, often being used to make salves, balms, soaps, candles and much more.  As an animal fat, it is nutrient rich - containing vitamins A, D, K & E as well as many collagen supporting ingredients.  Full of skin friendly goodness, the fatty acids in tallow include:

Oleic Acid
Palmitic Acid 
Stearic Acid 
Linoleic Acid 
Myristic Acid

WHY NON-NANO ZINC OXIDE?

Non-nano zinc oxide is generally considered safer for skin and the environment, as it's less likely to penetrate the skin or harm marine life. This also makes it suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. It has skin supporting properties and has historically been used for inflammatory conditions and wound healing.

WHY HEMP SEED OIL?

Hemp seed oil offers a wide range of benefits for the skin, including moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and oil-regulating properties. It can help to improve skin conditions, reduce signs of aging, and protect the skin from environmental damage. We used hemp seed oil in this formulation to allow the lotion to slide out of the bottle more efficiently, making it easier to apply.
